
Anthony David Gonzalez was conceived in Torrance on February 27th the year 1976. He was born in southern California. He was a student at Huntington Beach High School and was a star basketball and football player. Gonzalez was a star in both sports at the University of California. He was instrumental in leading the team's football team to 1996 Aloha Bowl. There, Gonzalez set a record in the school for receiving nine receptions, and set it again. Gonzalez helped lead the basketball team to the Sweet 16 of NCAA basketball tournament just a few months after. After graduation from high school, he entered the 1997 NFL Draft. Gonzalez was picked at number 13 overall by the Kansas City Chiefs. Gonzalez was a player with the Chiefs from 1997 until the year 2008. He was then transferred to the Atlanta Falcons. He didn't catch fewer than 59 passes in Gonzalez's second NFL season.
