Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in combat sports. As well as BJJ classes, she also trained in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. At age 18, Ladd made her debut as an amateur at WCFC. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and began a 3 fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round in all the fights. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and beat her in a unanimity to create a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd recovered from the loss by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta Fc 11 was her first fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the fight in the first round via TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to rise from Bantamweight to her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen made use of her wrestling prowess to take down McGill in the third round of a TKO. She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen dominated Hoy and finished her off in the second round by KO. Invicta FC, 21 was her final promotion bout. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks prevailed by a majority vote. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina through ground-and-pound and won the TKO round in the 2nd. Her dominance grew and she got a bigger win during her next fight against Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd took over Evinger's fight following the opening round. She also received the bonus for performance of night. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was her first fight that she's ever had in any significant capacity. The two fights were one of the most competitive fights that Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. Both fighters were awarded an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in 16-seconds to break her losing streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in the 3rd round at UFC 7.7 on ESPN. Her most recent bout for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. The fight ended in an unanimous decision.
